Often, I am inundated at my office with student requests. I cannot serve all of you and get my marking and other tasks done. If you DO NOT have an appointment then I would ask you to follow these basic rules.
1. If my office door is closed, please leave me alone as I am working on something. If my door is open come and see me.
2. If all possible please confine your requests of my time to the after school session I am in room 323/5. My physics students will be working there, but you can come in at your leisure and discuss matters with me then.
3. Before school, I require this time to get organized for the day. I cannot deal with student requests at this time unless you are specifically invited.
4. My preparation time is also very important to me as this is the one opportunity I have each day to interact with other teachers as well as marking and other preparation activities. Again, I request that you leave me to this unless the issue is a true emergency.

2. Algonquin is 12 – 15 May 2010
3. I doubt that I will be going in the senior trip to Washington.
